Handcrafted SeasonsRecently picked up an old hobby that I had been out of for about twenty years, Battletech! Slapped together a scenario and some rough Season modifications that will affect play in future games.

PathfinderOur new Dungeon Dudedads group is running a playthrough of PF1E's Rise of the Runelords. A fun group of dads and kids running zany characters in an old adventure path.
My current build is L'rac, a human Druid with the Druidic Alchemy nature bond, an old guy with rich, merchant folks. Had a ton of cast starting out so invested in an heirloom set of dragonhide armor, and a bunch of 'dad' stuff. Kits to get extra value, extra vials and bandoliers for everyone to help manage potions when alchemy really kicks into gear at level 7. At that point I plan on taking some levels in Arcane Savant to get some freaky utility spells to add to my collection. |
Just for GigglesI have begun replaying Final Fantasy 1 on NES.
I am running a solo Red Mage. Level 27, have not yet made it out after killing the first Fiend. Oh, I've killed him, but ghasts getting me stun-locked ate my face. We'll see what they do when I'm level 30. |

Survival of the fishestSo I'm not always immediately on board with prototype games, because some feel forced, like someone else's idea of fun rather than my own.
The pieces seemed a bit off-putting before I heard the explanation and started playing(fish poop, really?), but I steeled my nerves and pushed on. Wow. The play is intuitive, the mechanics are solid. Ways for your fish to die abound, and are not too easily exploitable. Played twice in just over an hour with six players. Light, strategic, thematic, and you get to poop on your friends. Random powers add re-playability, dead fish still affect play, so everyone stays engaged. Super fun. Will be backing this day 1. Join me. |
Kobold Kalamity
This is a homebrew Pathfinder 2E campaign I am running at Prosoul Games. Contact them for dates and times.
Campaign Elements:
Kobold and Kobold-adjacent creatures. Lawful Evil, leaning Chaotic Neutral. The evil component is primarily factional due to the patron the PCs will wind up working for.
The framework of this brew is a dungeon-management sim. The PCs have all heard of a young green dragon that has been terrorizing the countryside, and they want to help!
The style will be 4-color, possibly a bit over-dramatic. Recurring enemies that may get away a bit too conveniently from time to time, or reappear after they're killed.
Roleplaying solutions encouraged, quality of roleplay will not be penalized.
Downtime activities encouraged! Each session will cover a month, with approximately 20 days of downtime built in. Manage this yourself, apply income/crafting items between sessions.
Pathbuilder 2.0 premium encouraged, but not required. Some of the pregen builds I have require it as they have paywalled features. If you need help covering the $5, let me know.
Backstory is encouraged if it pertains to character goals. We will be leveling up between each session, using a hybrid milestone attendance system. If you have attended 2 of the last 3 sessions, your character will be at full milestone level, if not, 1 level behind.
If you want to run a pregen, I can link you the copy. If you wish to build from scratch, follow the below guidelines:
Level 1, choosing either Free Archetype or Ancestral Paragon. In addition to Kobold as a race, you may choose 1 additional Uncommon element. Any options that can be Dragon, especially Green Dragon, must be.
Advancement: Gain 1 uncommon per level, or 1 rare element every 2 levels.
Jason has chosen Gyr, the Disciple of the Gear Automaton Summoner/Dragon Disciple, and his draconic eidolon, Cawg
Also taken are:.
Session 1 completed. Next session begins with previous attendees at level 3, with an additional 40 gold and 20 days downtime for crafting/day jobs. Please handle level-ups and shopping before the session begins.
